21 Tamal Vista Blvd,
I completed my residency training in Adult Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, Department of Psychiatry. I currently have a general adult psychiatry private practice in Marin County. In addition, I am an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry, and, formerly, the Assistant Director of the Women, Mood and Hormone Assessment Clinic at Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute. I am a Board certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and licensed with the California Medical Board. I also have several years of additional training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
I have expertise in several specialty areas including the treatment of women during pregnancy and the post-partum period, the use of integrative and complementary modalities, and the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
In addition to considering medication options for patients, I also have a strong commitment to psychotherapeutic treatment, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT).
